Here's a dragonfly on smokebush that's almost ready to bloom...
Due to the heavy rains this year, there are a lot of semipermanent puddles and a lot of polliwogs in them...
The fresh light green of the new needles is the color reflected by the lake...
There were quite a few mushrooms coming up from the recent rains...
I've seen this pretty white moth (?) before, but this setting is lovely... I say moth because butterflies generally alight with wings together, moths apart...
I saw an osprey with probably a small sunfish...
